| Description | The Bachelor of Computer Science (Information Security) with Honours program offered by Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FSKTM) is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to help protecting information systems and data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. The programme is accredited by professional bodies such as the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). The programme is available for three and a half years and has a thorough curriculum that includes both theoretical and practical in information security. Students will have opportunities to specialize in a wide range of topics, including cryptography, network security, software security, computer forensics, and cyber law and ethics. Overall, the Bachelor of Computer Science (Information Security) with Honours programme provides students with the chance to participate in real-world, hands-on learning activities, such as internships and industry projects, ensuring that graduates are well-rounded and have the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the information security field. |

| Entry Requirements | The following admission guidelines do not guarantee entry into a program of studies as each application is assessed on a case by case basis. General Requirements: The general academic requirements for admission into undergraduate degree program of UTHM are : At least three (3) principal passes in the General Certificate of Education ‘Advanced level’ (GCE) ‘A’ Level Examination (UK Educational System) obtained in one sitting; OR International Baccalaureate (IB) with a minimum of six (6) subjects obtained in one sitting ; OR Diploma or any other Equivalent Qualification recognized by the Government of Malaysia and approved by the Senate of the University; OR Any other qualifications that are recognized by the Senate of the University as equivalent to the above. AND The qualification and entry requirements for the programs will be determined based on “THE LIST OF ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENT” published by Malaysian Qualification Agenc (MQA). |
