| Description | The programmes offer a study related to the principles of Usuluddin in multidisciplinary areas including Aqidah and Islamic Thought, al-Quran and al-Hadith, Dakwah and Human Development, History and Islamic Civilization. The programmes uniquely represent an integration between Islamic and contemporary knowledge. | Entry Requirements | The minimum requirements for admission to the academic programme are as follows: i. A Bachelor’s Degree in Usuluddin/Islamic Studies or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 and above or equivalent as approved by the Senate; Or ii. A Bachelor’s Degree in Usuluddin or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or a CGPA between 2.50 to 2.74, subject to special assessment by the Faculty Or iii. A Bachelor’s Degree in Usuluddin/Islamic Studies or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00, or a CGPA between 2.00 to 2.49 can be accepted, subject to the following criteria: A. Have at least five (5) years of work experience in relevant field; B. Pass the special assessment by the Faculty Or; iv. Candidates who do not have a Bachelor's Degree in Usuluddin/Islamic Studies or in a related field, or do not have work experience in relevant field MUST ATTEND AND PASS the prerequisite courses set by the Faculty and achieve the minimum CGPA subject to (i) to (iii). |

Applicants are required to submit an IELTS (Academic) qualification of at least band 5.5 or an TOEFL minimum score of 550 before registration. (2) International Candidates Who Write the Thesis/Dissertation in Bahasa Malaysia/Arabic Language (Other than English) – Graduation Requirements. Applicants are required to submit an IELTS (Academic) qualification of at least band 4.0 or a minimum TOEFL score of 400 before the degree conferment. |
