| Description | Master of Engineering Microelectronic is a specialised program in the field of microelectronics for postgraduate studies. The program includes a variety of advanced courses related to the field of microelectronics and nanoelectronics. The courses offered are in line with latest development in the knowledge domain that meet the needs of the microelectronic industry. These courses are constantly improved so that it remains relevant to the latest development in science and technology. The syllabus has been developed taking into account the views and suggestions from various stakeholders including the relevant industries. | Entry Requirements | A Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Bachelor of Science degree (in engineering field) or a Bachelor of Technology degree with CGPA of 2.5 and above from any recognized university; OR; A Bachelor of Engineering degree or a Bachelor of Science degree (in engineering field) or a Bachelor of Technology degree with CGPA of 2.00 – 2.49 with at least 5 years working experience in related engineering fields after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants, or evidence of working experience must be certified by the embassy of their respective country for non-Malaysian applicants OR; A Bachelor of Science degree (non-engineering field) or a Bachelor of Technology degree (nonengineering field) with CGPA of minimum 3.00 from any other recognized university; OR; A Bachelor of Science degree (non-engineering field) or a Bachelor of Technology degree (nonengineering field) with CGPA of 2.99 and below from any recognized university with 5 years working experience in related engineering fields after obtaining the degree for Malaysian applicants, or evidence of working experience must be certified by the embassy of their respective country for nonMalaysia applicants; OR; Fulfil Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL A) for Malaysian candidates only: (a) minimum age of 30 years old and the date of the application (b) pass diploma in related field or other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University’s Senate; (c) other equivalent qualification; AND (d) has a certificate of MQA APEL with MQF Level 7 |
