| Description | This programme is designed to produce graduates in civil engineering who are creative and innovative, and possess high moral and ethical values. Graduates are educated so that they are able to develop knowledge in civil engineering that is relevant to the current needs while maintaining national identity, in line with the mission of UKM to internationalise knowledge rooted in the national culture. Important elements such as community and sustainability are also emphasised in this programme. This Master of Civil Engineering programme is also to meet national human resource needs in related industries in the public and private sectors, in accordance with current market demand and long-term local and global prospects. |

| Entry Requirements | A Bachelor of Engineering degree with Honours (CGPA 2.5 and above) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university OR; A Bachelor of Engineering degree or in a related or a similar field with (CGPA 2.0 - 2.49) may be accepted with subject of thorough internal evaluation. OR; A Bachelor of Science degree with Honours (other than engineering field) or a Bachelor of Technology degree (other than engineering field) (with a CGPA minimum of 3.00) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia or its equivalent from any other recognized university OR; A Bachelor of Science degree with Honours (other than engineering field) or a Bachelor of Technology degree (other than engineering field)(with a CGPA lower than 3.00) may be accepted with subject of thorough internal evaluation. OR Fulfil Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL A) for Malaysian candidates only: i. Minimum age of 30 years old and the date of the application ii. Pass diploma in related field or other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government and approved by the University’s Senate; iii. other equivalent qualification; AND has a certificate of MQA APEL with MQF Level 7 |
