Description | Nuclear engineering fields cover a wide area of career opportunities in energy, medicine, security, environment, and satellites. Nuclear engineering program offered by UTM does not only focuses on producing holistic graduates in nuclear engineering but also allows them to be universal, versatile, and flexible in both nuclear and non-nuclear sectors. Most of the Nuclear Engineering UTM graduates find employment in the public sectors such as government agencies, universities, hospitals and in the private sectors such as Semiconductor, Oil and Gas Maintenance, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Radiation Protection Officers, Manufacturing, and Application Engineering. The rest of them further their studies in nuclear engineering and also in other disciplines such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, gas engineering, bioprocess, and energy management. |
