| Entry Requirements | A master’s degree from UM or equivalent from any other university, as acknowledged and approved by the Senate. or Exceptional University Malaya graduates may directly apply for entry into the University’s relevant doctoral programs. Candidates with a CGPA standing of 3.7 and above will be offered entry into the program and will also be given due consideration for the University Malaya’s scholarship funding, subject to applicable terms and conditions. |

Grade C or higher in English Language in A Level, University of Cambridge. Grade C or higher in Cambridge Assessment English: First (FCE). Grade C or higher in Cambridge Assessment English: First CAE. Grade C or higher in Cambridge Assessment English: First (CPE). or Pass an English proficiency test approved by the University. UM offers a course leading to proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia which international students are required to attend before the degree is conferred. |
