This commitment to impactful research is evident in the two Long-Term Research Grant Scheme (LRGS) projects awarded by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia. These projects, totaling RM 21,683,532, focus on enhancing sustainable rice production and poultry feed in Malaysia. ITAFoS boasts a wide range of modern research facilities, including: Crop breeding and greenhouses Molecular laboratory Poultry and ruminant research farm with a feed mill Supercritical fluid extractor Temperature-controlled chambers for animal studies These facilities enable researchers to tackle both fundamental and applied challenges related to crop and animal production, as well as food safety |
