| Entry Requirements | Minimum entry requirements 1. Candidate MUST possess Medical Degree, such as MBBS, MD, MBChB or equivalent qualification accepted by the University Senate and is registered with the Malaysian Medical Council [MMC] Refer MMC’s portal for the list of recognized institutions https://mmc.gov.my/medical-education-recognition/ Candidates holding degree from unrecognized institutions are required to sit and pass the Malaysian Medical Qualifying Examination [MQE] prior admission 2. Candidate MUST also possess at least 2 years experience after graduation, either in hospitals or other institutions certified and accepted by the University Senate Extra requirement for M.S [Plastic Surgery] Minimum eighteen (18) months experiences in General Surgery and six (6) months in other surgical base postings as a medical officer 3. Local candidates are also required to attend a pre-test/interview before the final selection 4. Foreign candidates are required to go through a 3 to 6 months clinical attachment and assessment at the respective department prior admission 5. Candidate MUST also in good physical and mental condition |
