| Description | The UKM PhD of Medical Science (Otorhinolaryngology) program first started on the 21st December 1989. It is available in full research mode only. Local and international candidates are welcomed to join our full (minimum 6 and maximum 12 semesters) and part time (minimum 8 and maximum 14 semesters) programs. The program educational objectives cover important domains such as application and integration of research methodologies to advance patient care in otorhinolaryngology as well as technical skills in medical experimentation, analytical and communication skills in presenting research findings. The field of ORL-HNS includes subspecialty services for the ear, nose, throat, head and neck, allergy and continue to grow with vast interdepartmental collaborations. Candidates will be exposed to real life clinical problems in otorhinolaryngology practise, based in the clinics, wards and operating theatre. |
