Entry Requirements | Master's Degree from a University or any higher education institution recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and/or with accreditation recognized by a foreign Accreditation Body, or an institution with accreditation as specified by a program; or Other qualifications equivalent to a Master's Degree or other qualifications with experience recognized by the Senate; or Students currently enrolled in a master's program under subregulation 6(a) on a full-time basis at the University and recommended by the Faculty/Institute Postgraduate Studies Committee to change status to a doctoral program with the approval of the Dean/Director; or Bachelor's Degree with excellent results from a University or any higher education institution subject to the provisions of the Faculty/Institute and recognized by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and/or with accreditation recognized by a foreign Accreditation Body; or Other qualifications recognized by the Senate obtained through Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL); or Meet other conditions stipulated by the program (if applicable); and Meet the conditions of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). |
English Requirement | a) Obtain a TOEFL (550), IELTS (6) or MUET (4) result that meets the minimum score or band requirements specified by the program; or b) For certain programs, candidates are required to take the English Proficiency Test (EPT) and if they fail to achieve the level specified by the program, candidates are required to attend and pass the English Proficiency Module (EPM) within a maximum period of two (2) semesters before they are allowed to register for the study program.
