| Description | One of the prime objectives to offer Master in Microelectronic Engineering is to prepare students to design microelectronic circuits. Throughout the duration of Microelectronic Engineering studies students will be exposed to various types of analogue circuit design techniques and analysis, understanding operations of fundamental semiconductor device models and design the sythesizable RTL digital logic circuits. In addition students will be given opportunities to use state- of- the- art industrial standard EDA software for the respective projects. The students that have enrolled in this program will develop the maturity level and ready take on a more complex mircoelectronics circuit design. |

| Entry Requirements | i. A Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.75, or A Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related fields with CGPA lower than 2.75 will also be considered if they have vast experience in some specific areas of specialisation and approved by the School Board. |
| English Requirement | For international students, there is an additional English language requirement, which is: A minimum score of 35 for TOEFL (Internet-based); or A minimum of Band 5 for IELTS; or A minimum score of 36 for PTE; or A minimum score of 154 for CAE/CPE; or A minimum of Band 2 for MUET. Exemption is given to candidates if: English is the candidate’s mother tongue or National Language; or The candidate graduated from an Institution of Higher Learning in which the medium of instruction at Bachelor and/or Master degree level is English (statement of proof required). |
