| Description | Students enrolled in the Mathematics programme, are exposed to thorough knowledge on theoretical as well as the applications. The students will be exposed to a variety of problem solving techniques, both analytically and numerically. Students are also provided with the knowledge in defining problems, understanding the stated problems, and this will shape the students’ creativity in handling the techniques of solving and proving. To produce graduates with national aspirations who are able to dominate and employ the mathematical sciences knowledge in the underlying development of the nation state with high values, ethics and professionalism. To produce graduates who are competent and able to master the latest mathematical sciences knowledge with practical and soft skills to solve national and global issues. To produce mathematical sciences graduates who are competitive, innovative, with entrepreneurship and leadership characteristics, and good communication skills in contributing ideas to stakeholders and society. |

Score of 3 in two(2) Higher Level subjects with one(1) subject must be Physics. Score of 4 in Higher Level Mathematics or 5 in Standard Level Mathematics. |
| English Requirement | Postgraduate Programs: For all postgraduate programs in FST, applicants must achieve a minimum score of 7 (mid-range) on HEET, ?4.0 on MUET, ?5.5 on IELTS, ?46 on TOEFL iBT, ?51 on Pearson PTE Academic, and ?160 on all levels of the Cambridge English Qualification (B1 Preliminary, B2 First, C1 Advanced, and C2 Proficiency). These requirements apply to all programs listed under the Faculty of Science and Technology. |
