Description This Bachelor Degree programme offers students to have comparative approach in the study of Islamic Heritage, Thought and Other Religions on the basis of Usul al-Din. It fulfills the vision which is to promote the Islamic sciences relevant to contemporary disciplines of study, and the mission which is to develop an Islamically based integrated holistic approach to education and career. It also meets the needs of global importance such as providing proper understanding of the worldview of Islam and endeavoring to regulate global peace and harmony through an intellectual Islamic discourse with other faiths and ideologies.

Minimum Grade C in the SPM for the following subjects: Arabic Language/ Advanced Arabic Language/ Arabic for Communication / AlLughahal ‘Arabiah al-Mu’asirah / Arabic Turath / Al-Adab Wa al-Balaghah

Minimum Grade B in the SPM for the following subjects: Al-Syariah / Hifz Al-Quran / Maharat Al-Quran / Manahij Al ‘Ulum AlIslamiah / Quran & Sunnah Studies / Islamic Studies / Moral Education / Study of Syari’ah Islamiah / Tasawwur Islam / Turath AI-Quran and AI-Sunnah / Turath Dirasat lslamiah / Usul Al-Din.

3. Singaporean Certificate
Obtained at least three (3) principal passes in A level or similar grades in equivalent qualifications; or

Obtained at least five (5) Cs in the GCE ‘O’ level/IGCSE or the equivalent grades in GCSE or other qualifications at par with GCSE, and five (5) years of working experience and evidence of non-formal education in Islamic sciences; or

Obtained at least five (5) Cs in the GCE ‘O’ level/IGCSE or the equivalent grades in GCSE or other qualifications at par with GCSE, and Diploma Pendidikan Islam (“DPI”) of Institut Pengajian Tinggi Islam Al-Zuhri with at least the Jayyid grade; or

Obtained at least five (5) Cs in the GCE ‘O’ level/IGCSE or the equivalent grades in GCSE or other qualifications at par with GCSE, and Certificate of Pre-University two (2) in Madrasah Al-Maarif Al-Islamiah or Madrasah Aljunied Al Islamiah or Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Islamiah with at least the Jayyid grade;or

Obtained at least five (5) Cs in the GCE ‘O’ level/IGCSE or the equivalent grades in GCSE or other qualifications at par with GCSE, and a diploma from institutions recognized by the Senate of the University
English Requirement Score of 79 on TOEFL IBT; or

Achieved IELTS proficiency score of Band 6; or

Achieve Band 6 of IIUM’s English Proficiency Test (EPT); and Band 4 of IIUM’s Arabic Proficiency Test (APT)

Note: Applicants without MUET, TOEFL, or IELTS will be scheduled to take EPT before the beginning of the 1st semester.
